Did you know doTERRA oils work for flea on your pets? I learned that there is actually a section of the Modern Essentials book that discusses oils and animals (pg. 105). The book suggests applying Lemongrass and Eucalyptus for fleas. Use one to two drops, mixed in shampoo to kill fleas. I also found some other suggestions online:
To make a natural flea collar, saturate a short piece of cord or soft rope with Melaleuca oil, roll up in a handkerchief and tie loosely around the animal’s neck.
TerraShield and Melaleuca both have anti-parasitic properties and should help with fleas. I often put 5 drops on a bandanna and tie it around my dog’s neck. You might also try applying a drop to the bottom of their paws.
Wild Orange sprayed will also help with fleas:
